      <image:title>Britt Bio - Brittany Holterman</image:title>
      <image:caption>Britt is the owner of Legacy Gym MKE. She is a MovNat Certified Trainer (MCT), American Council on Exercise (ACE) and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Qualified Trainer in TRX, and has her certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid. Britt started Legacy Gym MKE in January of 2016, naming it in honor of her mother who passed away in 2009. She strives to carry on her mother’s Legacy while adding to her own. Britt grew up in Racine playing every sport imaginable (she was the only girl on many of these teams) and became a state champion in basketball and tennis and state runner up in soccer. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Dayton (while also playing Division 1 basketball for the Flyers), she spent two years coaching the Purple Eagles Women’s Basketball team in Niagara Falls, NY. Britt then returned home to work in Land Development Engineering while also earning her Master of Science in Engineering from Marquette University and Wisconsin Professional Engineering License for a few years before returning back to her her true passion: fitness. In between writing and teaching classes at Legacy, she trained and competed on three seasons of NBC’s hit show, American Ninja Warrior. She also recently trained and completed the Wisconsin Half Marathon, placing in the women’s top 10%. In the small amount of free time she has, Britt loves spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, working on home projects, running, boating, and dreaming up new ideas and classes for Legacy.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kaycee Bio - Kaycee Glattke</image:title>
      <image:caption>Kaycee is a Group Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer at Legacy Gym MKE in Milwaukee, WI where she coaches HIIT classes for individuals of all ages and works with clients one-on-one to help them achieve their fitness and functional goals.  She earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2022, where her research focused on exercise and rehabilitation science; specifically, ACL injury prevention, recovery, and rehab. While in graduate school, she worked at the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center in Arizona, where she discovered her passion for working with athletes and active individuals. Her research is published in multiple orthopedic and sports medicine journals and has been presented at academic conferences across the country. Kaycee was named the Outstanding Engineering Graduate for her graduating class at ASU and held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery in the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. She also has an MS in Biomedical Engineering from ASU as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics from the University of Florida. When she’s not coaching, Kaycee can usually be found crafting, hanging out with her rescue dog Gibson, baking, or writing content for the HerAthlete blog. Kaycee’s Coaching Philosophy: As a personal trainer, my coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every athlete regardless of their background, ability, or starting point deserves evidence-based, personalized support that empowers them to move confidently and perform at their best. My training approach is grounded in sport science and data. I believe the most effective programs are informed by research, biomechanics, and performance metrics; not just trends or opinions. By integrating measurable progress and objective assessments, I can make informed decisions that drive sustainable improvement while minimizing risk. Strength training is central to my methodology, not just for enhancing performance, but for its critical role in injury prevention. I view strength not only as physical power, but as a foundation for longevity, resilience, and freedom of movement. Through smart, progressive programming, I help athletes build strong, stable bodies that can withstand the demands of their sport and life. I also believe that coaching is about connection. I meet every client where they’re at physically, emotionally, and mentally. Training should feel accessible, motivating, and empowering, not overwhelming or intimidating. My job is to listen first, then guide. I build programs around each person’s unique goals, lifestyle, and needs, helping them progress with purpose and confidence. Finally, I am deeply passionate about empowering female athletes. I work to break down the outdated narratives around women in strength and sport, and I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where girls and women can see their potential, take up space, and build lasting confidence through movement.
