Each day of the week is a different format with a different focus. See below for the description of days and click on the button to view the current schedule and sign up for a class:
MONDAY is TABATA & CORE!
This class will consist of short bursts of high intensity exercises, followed by a quick recovery or core movements as you make your way through stations or complete each round together as a group. The goal of this class is to challenge your stamina with short, high intensity intervals to most effectively and efficiently burn fat and calories, even after the workout is over. The core will be integrated with a starter, finisher or somewhere in the middle!
TUESDAY is BIG MUSCLES STRENGTH TRAINING!
With a focus on the big muscles of the body, this class will build muscle and core stability. We will add resistance in both the vertical and horizontal directions, challenging your muscular strength, endurance and power. We will also emphasize traditional weight lifting techniques and exercises to develop and tone both small and large muscle groups. Equipment used in this class will be kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, and resistance bands.
WEDNESDAY is WENSANITY.
Whether you are trying to improve your physical fitness levels or increase your ability for fat loss, this cardio class will challenge you through functional fitness techniques with high intensity intervals. These exercises will push you mentally and physically to overcome your cardiovascular and muscular fatigue, burning a ton of calories and improving your mood and energy for your whole Wen-sane Wednesday!
THURSDAY is SMALL MUSCLES STRENGTH TRAINING!
This class will incorporate various pieces of equipment to challenge your body’s small muscles. Every exercise will focus on stability, strength and endurance. This class will help to improve your overall functionality through slow and controlled movements.
FRIDAY is FIGHT CLUB!
There are no rules in this class. Fight club is a high-intensity, cardio-driven class that utilizes combative and functional, bodyweight exercises. Our goal is keep your heart rate high, increasing your overall energy levels and boosting your metabolism while also burning hundreds of calories.
SATURDAY is SUMMER (BOOT) CAMP!
Implementing a variety of strength equipment as well as conditioning relays and drills, we will push you to your muscular and cardiovascular limits. Your muscles, lungs and heart must work hard to challenge yourself and in some classes, your teammates or opponents.
