Britt Holterman is the owner of Legacy Gym MKE. Britt is a MovNat Certified Trainer (MCT) and American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified Personal Trainer along with certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid. She is also a qualified trainer in TRX.
Britt earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Dayton while playing Division 1 basketball for the Flyers. After college, she spent two years in Niagara Falls, NY coaching the Purple Eagles Women’s Basketball team. She then returned home to work in Land Development Engineering for DAAR Engineering and Pinnacle Engineering while earning her Master of Science in Engineering from Marquette University and Wisconsin Professional Engineering License. Britt wasn’t able to stay away from coaching for long as she quickly joined the Wisconsin Basketball Academy Prestige girls AAU team as a coach while working in Engineering. Britt started Legacy Gym MKE in January of 2016. The name Legacy is after her mother who passed away in 2009. Britt strives to carry on her mother’s legacy while adding to her own. Britt grew up in Racine and spent her elementary, middle, and high school at the Prairie School where her mother taught for 27 years. She grew up playing every sport imaginable (she was the only girl on many of these teams) and became a state champion in basketball and tennis and state runner up in soccer.Contact Britt
Jamie Neumann is the co-Founder and Director of Marketing of Legacy Gym MKE. Jamie has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and currently is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent. Jamie was a premier girls club soccer coach for Wisconsin Rush in Madison and earned her coaching license in 2008. Jamie also spent ten years as store manager at Stefan’s Soccer and helped open the Madison and Fox Point stores. Jamie is currently is the assistant vice president for Hays Companies.
Jamie’s heart is in giving back in any way possible. She spent one year abroad working for the World Race nonprofit organization immediately after college. Living out of a backpack, she traveled to multiple countries making an impact on children and adults throughout the world. Jamie still donates her time feeding men at the Guest House, being a certified coach for the Special Olympics and meeting with people at local retirement communities.Contact Jamie
Katy, known for her fun but intense style, is certified through the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) and is a certified TRX Trainer. She has enjoyed working with individuals with their fitness since 2005. She has taught all kinds of classes and has trained clients closely for many consecutive years. She excels at helping clients create a healthy balance between strength, endurance, agility and balance training. Katy also sees the client as an individual and works with each person to reach their personal goals. She pays close attention to form and believes to do exercises correctly to get the most out your workouts. She also thinks workouts shouldn’t be unbearable but attainable and if you have fun in the process it’s a win/win!
Katy grew up in Port Edwards, WI but moved to Chicago right after high school to pursue a professional dance career. She put her mind to it and did just that! She has danced professionally and has taught since 1996. Katy has a wide variety of experience with many professional companies and performances, highlights include, performing at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, dancing 13 years with The Joel Hall Dancers (an urban Jazz company) touring the U.S. and England. She has also toured as a hip hop back up dancer. Katy has taught at countless schools, instructed master classes and has choreographed across the Chicagoland area.Contact Katy
John Caron recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Kinesiology major and an emphasis in exercise and fitness. He is planning on attending a Physical Therapy Doctorate Program in the future. John first became passionate with exercise in his senior year of high school when he joined the cross country team. He lost 50 pounds, gained some muscle, and never looked back. John presents with a handful of skills including communicating with professionals and clients, a passion for kinesiology (and sports), and a great work ethic to accomplish any task at hand. He presents himself with a variety of accomplishments including the following examples: he is on the dean’s list at his university, lost 50 pounds in his senior year of high school, achieved his ACSM certification as an exercise physiologist, and has had a variety of different jobs and other experiences in the field of kinesiology/medical field. Outside of class and work, John enjoys running half marathons, spending time with his dog, and playing sports as well as attending sporting events. Steve is an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Certified Personal Trainer. Steve has attended multiple personal training classes from the World Instructor Training Schools. Steve is also certified in CPR/AED First Aid.
Steve was the Assistant Basketball Coach for the girls’ varsity team and the Head Basketball Coach for the girls’ freshman team at Waukesha West. Steve has played sports for his entire life and hopes to be an Athletic Trainer and Coach at the high school or college level someday.
Steve enjoys helping people in any way that he can. He has always had a passion for exercising and helping people better themselves. Steve’s goal as a trainer is to help clients achieve their goals in a fun and encouraging way.
Steve loves watching and playing sports, especially basketball and soccer! He is also a die-hard Bucks fan who loves watching and going to their games. Steve also loves spending time with his beautiful wife, Jessie, and going out to restaurants in Milwaukee.Contact Steve
