Brittany Holterman

Britt is the owner of Legacy Gym MKE. She is a MovNat Certified Trainer (MCT), American Council on Exercise (ACE) and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Qualified Trainer in TRX, and has her certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid.

Britt started Legacy Gym MKE in January of 2016, naming it in honor of her mother who passed away in 2009. She strives to carry on her mother’s Legacy while adding to her own.

Britt grew up in Racine playing every sport imaginable (she was the only girl on many of these teams) and became a state champion in basketball and tennis and state runner up in soccer.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Dayton (while also playing Division 1 basketball for the Flyers), she spent two years coaching the Purple Eagles Women’s Basketball team in Niagara Falls, NY.

Britt then returned home to work in Land Development Engineering while also earning her Master of Science in Engineering from Marquette University and Wisconsin Professional Engineering License for a few years before returning back to her her true passion: fitness.

In between writing and teaching classes at Legacy, she trained and competed on three seasons of NBC’s hit show, American Ninja Warrior. She also recently trained and completed the Wisconsin Half Marathon, placing in the women’s top 10%.

In the small amount of free time she has, Britt loves spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, working on home projects, running, boating, and dreaming up new ideas and classes for Legacy.
